I learned a new thing today



The gamma rays studied in high energy astrophysics are not the same gamma rays that turned Bruce Banner into the Hulk.

And some other stuff.

Totally awesome. I also did a lot of wikipedia reading about it all yesterday afternoon. The conversation started when I asked Dr. P what the practical application of her research was...

Maybe you need to come back and get into some gamma ray stuff...

No way. That dork I'm married to never told me that. Of course he probably assumed I knew based on the "above the knee" or "below the knee" or "right at the crotch" ways of measuring those damned things. Or whatever.
