100 Greatest, Gayest Albums of All Time

Out Magazine polled more than 100 actors, comedians, musicians, writers, critics, performance artists, label reps, and DJs, asking each to list the 10 albums that left the most indelible impressions on their lives. These were tallied and compiled into the "100 Grestest, Gayest Albums of All Time".

I am not sure how I feel about this (and not just because Radiohead is nowhere to be found on this list).

First Kanye has to makes his album "blacker".
Now Out has to label albums "gayest"?

I understand wanting a sense of culture and community, but doesn't it feel like taking a step back wards in humanity?

Am I taking this all too serious?

I hate it when I do that.

Read the list of "100 Greatest, Gayest Albums of All Time" here.

I'll give you a hint of who is #1.... David Bowie. That was more than a hint wasn't it?

The David Bowie thing doesn't surprise me. Smash has a friend that claims he realized he was gay when he saw Bowie's package in tights in the movie "Labyrinth."

The Smiths? Dee-lite, yes; Erasure, yes; B-52s, yes. But The Smiths is a band for tortured high school boys who like girls who don't like them back haha.

After about 30, the author is totally reaching by including every band with a gay person in the band. R.E.M.'s Automatic for the People is (straight) mom music.
